There is a lot going on in these files this summer. On watershed planning, the OHI is a member of an advisory group on the Province’s efforts to create a Watershed Planning Guidance Document (WPGD), On the latter, we recently both made a submission on proposed amendments to the Conservation Authorities Act and wrote a letter to the Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry on some big issues that seem to not be being addressed in either the amendments or the development of the WPGD. The letter is included in our submission, at OHI for CA Act ER 013-0561 July 31 final.
