The review of the Conservation Authorities Act is proceeding and the OHI has provided further comments. An initial stage of public consultation focused on a concept paper outlining key issues. A second stage of comments closed on Friday, Sept 9, soliciting input on the government’s announced direction, embodied in Conserving Our Future, which was posted to the Environmental Registry at Ref No 012-7583. Our comments can be found at OHI for CA review Sept 2016. The government will next generate specific amendments for a final round of consultation.
