Promoting Watershed Security in Ontario:

ecological integrity, social wellbeing, and economic vitality

Headwater Hikes are now a part of Health Hikes, a program run by Conservation Ontario and Ontario’s 36 Conservation Authorities that encourages people to be healthy while hiking in nature. This is a logical fit, as many of the Headwater Hikes are on lands owned or managed by Conservation Authorities. And, for this spring, participants can earn 200 Healthy Hike bonus points by participating in the Institute’s four hikes in May.  See Headwater Hikes or Healthy Hikes for more information.
